Girls on the Run @ Glenshire!

Glenshire Elementary is excited to once again be a host location for Girls on the Run for Spring 2025. This program is open to all 3-5th grade girls that are interested in friendship, finding their voice, and how to become a mountain mover! Financial aid is available.

Families can expect practice twice per week (likely Monday/Wednesday) which will help build stamina for the celebratory 5k.

Girls on the Run® is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization designed to enhance participants' social, emotional and physical skills to successfully navigate life experiences. Our fun, interactive lessons meet the unique needs of participants of all abilities and backgrounds.

How can I get involved?

Come to a meeting! We meet the third Tuesday of every month (some exceptions around holidays) from 3:30 - 4:30p in the GES Library. Childcare is provided for kids ages 3 and up. See all Meeting Minutes

Can’t make a meeting? Check out our Volunteer Links page or Fundraising Events page for more info. This is where you can sign up to volunteer time (or supplies), or help us by purchasing fundraising events (like a photo shoot or wreath).
